Le Swedish String Quartet est un ensemble international basé en Suède, fondé en 2011. Ils interprètent des œuvres des plus grands compositeurs de l’époque classique et romantique mais mettent un point d’honneur à insérer des compositeurs scandinaves tels que Stenhammar, Berwald, Sibelius, Grieg et tant d’autres dans leur répertoire pour découvrir (ou redécouvrir) ces compositeurs oubliés, souvent dans l’ombre d’autres grands compositeurs. L’un des ensembles les plus recherchés de Suède, ils se produisent fréquemment au Grunewald Hall-Stockholm Concert House, Stockholm Royal Opera House, Västerås Concert House, Malmö Live Concert Hall et dans de nombreuses associations de musique de chambre telles que “Pro Musica » à Simrishamn, Lerum, Lund et le monastère de Mariavall à Österlän, ainsi qu’à l’étranger à Spoleto pour le Festival de musique d’Ombrie.
The Swedish String Quartet is an international ensemble based in Sweden, founded in 2011. They perform works by the greatest composers of the Classical and Romantic era but make it a point of honor to insert Scandinavian composers such as Stenhammar, Berwald, Sibelius, Grieg and so many others in their repertoire to discover (or rediscover) these
forgotten composers, often in the shadow of other great composers.
One of the most sought after ensembles in Sweden, they perform frequently in the Grunewald Hall-Stockholm Concert House, Stockholm Royal Opera House, Västerås Concert House, Malmö Live Concert Hall, and in many Chamber Music associations such as “Pro Musica” in Simrishamn, Lerum, Lund, and the Mariavall Monestery in Österlän, as well as abroad in Spoleto for the Umbria Music Festival.
ADAM WOŹNIAK
Adam Woźniak est né en 1991 à Cracovie, où il est diplômé du ZPSM de M. Karlowicz dans la classe
de Franciszek Pall.
Il a étudié à l'Académie de musique de Cracovie sous la direction du professeur Zdzislaw Łapinski et à
la Musikhochschule Lubeck sous la direction du professeur Ulf Tischbirek. Il a participé à de
nombreuses Masterclasses avec des musiciens de renommée mondiale tels que Jeroen Reuling,
Morten Zeuthen, Alexander Gebert, Michael Flaksman, Julius Berger, Peter Buck.
Il est plusieurs fois lauréat de concours nationaux et internationaux de violoncelle. En tant que
soliste, il s'est produit avec l'Orchestre philharmonique de Cracovie, l'Orchestre philharmonique de
Basse-Silésie, l'Orchestre philharmonique de Kalisz, l'Opéra et le théâtre national de Varsovie, la
Meistersingerhalle de Nuremberg. En tant que chambriste et soliste, il se produit dans de nombreux
festivals tels que La Folle Journée de Varsovie, Oberstdorfer Musiksommer, Mozariana à Gdansk.
Il jouait de la musique de chambre avec Dmitry Sitkovestky, Piotr Tarcholik, Jeroen Reuling, Barnaba
Poprawski, Michel Lethiec, Marcin Baranowski, Maciej Lulek, Jurek Dybal Piotr Reichert, Piotr
Orzechowski.

Adam Woźniak was born in 1991 in Krakow, where he graduated from ZPSM of M. Karlowicz in class
of Franciszek Pall.
He studied in Academy of Music in Krakow under Prof. Zdzislaw Łapinski and in Musikhochschule
Lubeck under Prof. Ulf Tischbirek. He took part in many Masterclasseswith world renown musicians
such as Jeroen Reuling, Morten Zeuthen, Alexander Gebert, Michael Flaksman, Julius Berger, Peter
Buck.
He’s a multiple prize winner in national and international cello competitions. As a soloist he appeared
in Krakow Philharmonic, Lower Silesian Philharmonic, Kalisz Philharmonic, Mational Opera and
Theatre in Warsaw, Meisersingerhalle in Nurnberg. As a chamber musician and a soloist he was
performing on many festivals such as La Folle Journée de Varsovie, Oberstdorfer Musiksommer,
Mozariana in Gdansk.
He was playing chamber music with Dmitry Sitkovestky, Piotr Tarcholik, Jeroen Reuling, Barnaba
Poprawski, Michel Lethiec, Marcin Baranowski, Maciej Lulek, Jurek Dybal Piotr Reichert, Piotr
Orzechowski.
He is in the cello section of Malmö Symfoniorkester

Il est Titulaire d’un Master d’Interprétation en tant que Soliste et Chambriste au George Enescu Music Academy à Lasi, en Roumanie.
Il a étudié avec des professeurs comme Gaspar Markos et Dan Prelipcean entre autres.
Depuis la fin de ses études, il a été engagé comme soliste et chambriste dans de nombreux orchestres et ensembles en Roumanie, Moldavie, Scandinavie et tourne régulièrement en Suède et à l’étranger.
Il travaille aujourd’hui pour Malmö Symphony Orchestra.
Il enseigne à l’école Malmö Latin Music School et au Crescendo Summer Institute en Hongrie.

He took the Master’s exam on Viola as a Soloist and in Chamber Music at the George Enescu Music Academy in Lasi, Romania.
He studied with professors such as Gaspar Markos and Dan Prelipcean among others.
Since finishing his studies, he has been engaged as a soloist and chamber musician at numerous orchestras and ensembles in Romania, Moldavia, Scandinavia and regularly tours both in Sweden and abroad.
He now works for the Malmo Symphony Orchestra.
He also teaches at Malmö Latin Music School and at Crescendo Summer Institute in Hungary.
ADRIAN DIMA
Adrian Dima est un violoniste roumain né en 1989 à Constanța (Roumanie)
Il a commencé à étudier le violon dès l’âge de 7 ans au Lycée des Arts de Constanta, en Roumanie.
Un prix d’excellence aux national Olympics of Musical Theory et des cours particuliers de violon de Daniel Podlovski dès l’âge de 15 ans ont conduit Adrian à Bucarest, où il a obtenu son diplôme du lycée de musique “George Enescu” en 2008.
Il s’est produit en soliste avec les orchestres philharmoniques de Bucarest, Constanta, Timisoara et Bacau et a été sélectionné pour participer au Festival des étudiants en musique de Kyoto au Japon en 2009 et 2010, après avoir reçu le Prix spécial de l’Association des critiques de musique roumaine en 2008.
Pendant son année de diplôme à l’Université nationale de musique de Bucarest, classe de violon du prof. Ladislau Csendes, Adrian a commencé à collaborer avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique “George Enescu” en tant que violoniste d’orchestre régulier et a ensuite été accepté pour des études Erasmus au CNSMDP, Paris 2011 – 2012.
En tant que membre de l’ European Union Youth Orchestra entre 2010 et 2015, Adrian s’est régulièrement produit avec des solistes et des chefs d’orchestre de renommée internationale sur des scènes prestigieuses du monde entier.
Il a commencé ses études de maîtrise à la Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhague, sans la classe de violon de Serguei Azizian en 2014.

Adrian Dima is a Romanian violinist born in 1989 in Constanța (Romania)
He began studying the violin from the age of 7 at the High-School of Arts of Constanta, Romania.
An Excellency Prize at the national Olympics of musical theory and private violin tuition from Daniel Podlovski from the age of 15 lead Adrian to Bucharest, graduating the “George Enescu” High-School of Music in 2008.
He performed as a soloist with the Bucharest, Constanta, Timisoara and Bacau Philharmonic orchestras and was selected to participate in the Kyoto Music Students Festival in Japan, 2009 and 2010, after receiving the Romanian Musical Critics Association Special Award in 2008.
During the bachelor’s degree at the National Music University, Bucharest, violin class of prof. Ladislau Csendes, Adrian began collaborating with the “George Enescu” Philharmonic as a regular orchestral violinist and was later accepted for Erasmus studies at the CNSMDP, Paris 2011 – 2012.
As a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra between 2010 and 2015, Adrian regularly performed with internationally renowned soloists and conductors on prestigious stages worldwide.
He began his Master’s studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen, violin class of prof. Serguei Azizian in 2014.

Johann SOUSTROT

Né à Narbonne (France), Il a commencé le violon à l’âge de 4 ans.
Membre du pupitre des premiers violons de l’orchestre symphonique de Malmö depuis 2014, Johann SOUSTROT à fait ses études au Conservatoire de Perpignan où il obtient son diplôme mention TB à l’unanimité en classe Supérieure et en Musique de Chambre (2007).
Il a été aussi professeur de violon dans le même conservatoire de 2011 à 2014.

A member of the first violins of the Malmo Symphony Orchestra since 2014, Johann SOUSTROT
studied at the Perpignan Conservatory, where he graduated unanimously in the Upper Class and
Chamber Music (2007).
He was also a violin teacher at the same conservatory from 2011 to 2014.
